Prior to joining ZCISD, Mrs. Campos served as a parent volunteer at the Zapata Head Start in Zapata Texas, which then enabled her to seek a child development degree at Laredo Community College. This rewarded her with the opportunity to land an early head start teacher position with the Head Start program, prior to graduating. Mrs. Campos also served at Los Patitos Early Head Start for 11 years as an early childhood educator. Mrs. Campos values the importance of valuing each students’ individual needs with patience and understanding, and strongly believes in “one size does not fit all”.
Mrs. Campos continued education was focused on School Administration, in which she had the opportunity to experience the understanding of school policies, assisting in recruiting new staff members and have open communications with parents, teachers and students. School administration involves the development of improvement plans for the school that will help manage all school operations, from creating a safe learning environment to managing the school budget.
Mrs. Campos joined Siesta Shores WCID Board of directors on 2017 and actively participates in discussions and decision making in the best interest of Siesta Shores WCID. Mrs. Campos has served the community of Siesta Shores for 5 years and is committed to ensuring the sustainability of Siesta Shores WCID, while providing a safe, efficient, effective, and reliable water and wastewater utility service to Siesta Shores residents.
